Pattern Recognition

"Pattern Recognition",
a title taken from William Gibson's 2003 novel whose main character "owes her living to her pathological sensitivity to logos" These photo-works, the forerunner to my "Vertical Mirrors" series, explores the architectural logo of urbanity, examining the alienating beauty of skyscrapers, offices, homes and industrial buildings. Of visual grids, of rhythms and patterns...

"We have no future because our present is too volatile... We have only risk management. The spinning of the moment's scenerios. Pattern recognition..." Pattern Recognition/William Gibson ©2003
